surprise, surprise...
Apr. 25th, 2005 09:42 pmFirst week of terms is over and I think it may become interesting this time, but I have to admit that I'm not used to homework. I haven't done any since I left school and now...
Never mind anyway. It's just kind of unusual for me. Well, I know now, why I quit my latin lessons in school: It's too much to learn, but I have to go through it, haven't I? But the course about time and eternity might become very interesting. It is truely a paradox, 'cause there is no past, because everything that passed us is gone forever. There cannot be a future, because you can't foresee what will happen. In the end you might say, there's the present left, but when you blink it's gone andso it's past, which doesn't exist. It's going round in circles, isn't it? But it really makes me think about it. When I told my mother about it, she mocked me and said, that discussing with me may become very complicated and too philosophical for her. Maybe...
Talking about surprises, as mentioned in the title, there have been two this week. First my stepfather got tickets for the fifa world cup 2006 for a match in berlin. That'll be an amazing event next summer and I'm glad he got some for the whole family. If I could've chosen the place, it would've been Hamburg, 'cause the stadion is better than here, but why complain? We got picked out among millions of people.
The secound surprise happened on friday, when I went to university. A former school mate stepped into the tram. I just wondered when I'd meet someone here, but the one I knew since I can remember? Never! Unfortunately we forgot to change numbers or mail adresses to get in touch. I'd really like to talk about what happened after school and other things. So I have to look out for her, when I'm on my way to uni.
The rest isn't mentionable (does this word exist?). I got some new ideas for my story, which I'll write down when I'm finished here and then I'll take a few zs and dream about everything that might come to my mind.
