home sweet home
Apr. 19th, 2005 10:34 pmTerm started today and it could have been worse after all. I passed my test in documentation basics with the poorest mark you can get for passing. What a great relief never having a lesson with Jänsch again. He was boring to death. Franzi got through it as well and we hardly believed the written proof of our luck.
The new lessons may become interesting, but I just skipped one course before even visiting it. To get from one university to the other in half an hour is far too annoying. After half an hour runnig through this damn building to find my room, I wasn't really in the mood for joining the course. On the way up to the right floor the elevator broke down and noone except of me was worried about it. Kind of creepy... Seems to happen very often and that's another good reason to quit this lessons. You'll never be sure if you make it in time.
But anyway the day was better than I'd expected and so I'm really looking forward to my other courses. On my way back to the HU, I stopped at Hugendubel and finally couldn't resist the temptation of buying something, so I got myself a copy of Diana Gabaldon's "Lord John and the private matter". I just hope it'll be as good as her highland novels, which I really enjoyed.
Good night then and sleep well :)
