Heyah, yes I knkow it's been some time, but to tell you the truth nothing quite interesting happened around here the last weeks. University is still as boring or funny -take your pick- as it has been last year. I actually decided to cancel two more courses from my schedule. Just too boring to continue.
And I don't know what it is, but everytime I get close to writing tests and have to learn, I get the urge to write on my stories. This is just not the right time, but I can't help it. I started in the holidays with a FK fanfic in german, which I finished around the first week of the new year. Today I've finished my second fanfic, a crossover with the main character of my own story, this time in english. Of course both of them are not for public consumption. I just had to write them down and I'm too lazy to type them. Well, I guess I'll go back to my story as long as I have this drive. I really like to finish the story of Elisabeth and Björn, which is close to an end right now. *sigh*
Last weekend I got the first season of Highlander: The series on DVD. I discovered an offer at amazon.de, I couldn't reject. The whole season including bonus material on 8 discs for 18 €. Yes, your eyes are not deciving you: EIGHTEEN Euros!! This is the regular prize for one movie, but I got a whole season. I watched the series regularly when it was aired over here. Some episodes I recognized as well as some of the guest stars for example Christoph M. Orth and Jason Isaacs. Getting through the box was quite fun, especially to hear the original voices.
On friday I've been to my first piano concert. Ludovico Einaudi was playing in a church this evening and I had to go there. Luckily my mother discover him just before Christmas and I'm really grateful for that. His music is absolutely wonderful and relaxing. The church was well frequented an to my surprise all ages were present. I expected the generation 40+, but there have also been people my age and children. It was a wonderful evening, but why do pews always have to be so damn uncomfortable. After two hour sitting on them I was more than stiff.
