I haven't!
I mean slept ok last night. The weather changed and I got my usually pains. Taking a pill I thought it would be ok afterwards but it became worse. Not the pain. It vanished, but I woke in the middle of the night and couldn't get any sleep for the next two hours. So I learned some vocabulary for the upcoming test. I mean it's sick, isn't it? Learning voluntarily because of stupid insomnia. The sleep wasn't refreshing either. I dreamed weird things I don't recall anymore, but it was all messed up. I woke groggy about 9 a.m., but now after a long, hot shower I feel alive again.
To change the topic to something more interesting, I can tell you that I've seen WAR OF THE WORLDS yesterday with Franzi and Micha. Usually I don't like this alien invasion kind of stuff, but this one was was a nice piece of work. The special effects were amazing. But I think the aliens are somehow stupid. I mean conquering the world, that's fine, but why destroying the whole life on the planet? It isn't that much fun, when you've entered a world with no one in it to dominate over. That's the whole point of conquering, isn't it? To role over the underdogs? Anyway, I had my fun with this movie, but I wouldn't watch it again.
I also joined the main FK fanlisting yesterday and supplied myself with some clips of the first episode in german today. Just to compare the sync to the original voices. I think they found a good voice for Nick, but no one can replace Nigel Bennett. His voice is too damn tempting to be replaced. Natalie sounded strange too, but the one for Schanke seemed to fit. There's nothing like OVs anyway. But I got the strange feeling that the german version differs from the ones on the DVDs. One of the scenes I've never seen before and it was a good one. So why did they have to cut it in the US version? I'll never know, do I?
Well, that's enough for today. I still need to do my latin homework and I want to type up the beginning of a third one shot, that's flowing in my mind during the week.
My story is becoming somehow independent. I know how I want it to end, but I'm not sure what's happening to the characters in the meantime. How do they develop? I'm really curious about it!
And then the one shots, that don't fit in the main story. Ok, they all take place afterwards, but I want them to be told. One is finished yet, the other ones are still in progress. Maybe I will be a writer someday, but I don't think I'm good enough to publish.
